David Lee

David Lee was the first wrestler in California history to win a state championship three times. 1982 at 138lbs., 1983 at 154lbs., and 1984 at 165lbs. David was a High School All-American andthe most heavily recruited wrestler in the nation in 1984.

David went on to wrestle at both Stanford University and the University of Wisconsin where he was a 3x All-American and an NCAA Champion. David was honored as "Athlete of the Year" for the University of Wisconsin in 1988. Davidhad a lot of international success. He was champion at the Canada Cup,the Czech Grand Prix (in Prague), the Cerro Palado (Cuba),the Klansman (Vancuver) and the Sunkist International here in the United States. He was also a 3x champion and 5x finalist at the Midlands Championships. David was elected into the California Wrestling Hall of Fame as a charter member in 2000. He was also elected as a charter member of the Sac-Joaquin Section Hall of Fame in 2010 (second picture below).

David is currentlyliving and workingin the Palo Alto area.
